Sony has not been keen about multi-camera setups when it comes to their mobile phones but things are bound to change as the whole industry is moving towards multi-camera design and the single camera is a thing of past.Recent leaks from well-known leakster @Onleaks revealed CAD renders which reportedly show the latest Sony Xperia XZ4, the device appears to have a triple camera design at the rear. The device also show a large screen on the front with minimal bezels which is always a good thing.
Now in past Sony has released only one device with a dual-camera setup which was XZ2 and XZ4 might be their first attempt in the triple-camera league. The specific details about the cameras are unknown as no information about the sensor size or the pixel count was provided.
On the front a single camera is visible above the non-notched display which appears to be 6.5″ diagonally, with 19:9 aspect ratio. Now the shrunken bezels have shown a side-effect in the form of speaker positioning as the front firing speaker is now at the bottom along with USB-C port. Fingerprint reader is no where to be found which concludes that either 3D Face recognition or side-mounted scanners are coming.
